From Jingdezhen to everyday rituals

MOWANA brings expressive Jingdezhen porcelain into coffee, tea and everyday moments.

We believe porcelain should not live only behind glass. It can be part of a morning coffee, an afternoon tea, a focused desk ritual, a quiet evening at home, or a gift chosen with more feeling than convenience.

From China's porcelain city

Our pieces are selected from Jingdezhen, China, a city known for porcelain for generations.

Jingdezhen carries a long ceramic tradition, but MOWANA looks at that tradition through modern life. A blue-and-white pattern can meet coffee. A vivid floral tumbler can sit beside a laptop. A porcelain cup can feel both old and new, familiar and unexpected.

That is the world we want to build: Chinese porcelain made for daily use, modern homes and meaningful gifting.

MOWANA begins with three feelings: art, romance and the East.

Art, because every pattern should bring visual pleasure into an ordinary day.

Romance, because a cup can change the mood of a small ritual.

The East, because our point of view is rooted in Chinese culture, not as nostalgia, but as a living language for contemporary life.

We start with porcelain tumblers and cups because they are intimate objects. You hold them, use them and return to them every day.

Each piece is chosen for its shape, pattern, color, everyday usability and ability to carry a sense of place. Our first collections focus on expressive porcelain tumblers from Jingdezhen, designed for coffee, tea, warm drinks and beautiful daily use.

A founder's story

Our founder, Ting, is a Chinese mother of three, born in 1990 and now based in Germany.

The name MOWANA comes from her children's names, but the brand begins with porcelain. For Ting, MOWANA is a way to bring part of her Eastern background into the life she is building overseas: not as something distant or decorative, but as something useful, warm and present.

It is a small bridge between cultures, made one cup at a time.

Made for everyday beauty

We are building MOWANA slowly and carefully: starting with selected pieces, improving our product pages, testing packaging, listening to customers and learning what deserves to stay.

Our goal is simple: to make Jingdezhen porcelain feel natural in modern homes around the world.
